How to start ./dsserver.h without depending on the terminal session

I have previously had some suspicion that starting OrientDB using only ‘./dserver.sh &’ has some unwanted side-effects, e.g. if the SSH session closes the process might be killed in the process.

We get some suggestion that maybe can use of “nohup dserver.sh > /dev/null 2>&1 &” , but after the command executed, I don’t see the orientDB process get started too.

I am wondering if there is any other solution that can achieve on what I want

and are you sure it is not being run in a java VM
and the process is java ?
